2026 Topps Chrome Football: Australian Collector's Guide

Urban Empire

Topps Chrome Football is back for 2026, and we've got pre-orders open at Urban Empire Collectables in Bennetts Green. Here's what's confirmed so far: the release dates, box formats, the rookie class, and how to secure your boxes in Australia.

Release dates

  • Value Box: 18 November 2026 (US release, per Topps).
  • Hobby Box and Hobby Jumbo Box: 18 November 2026 is the date retailers are listing. Topps hasn't shown a date on its Hobby page yet.
  • Mega Box: 2 December 2026 (US release, per Topps).

These are US dates. Australian arrival dates aren't confirmed yet, and stock usually lands here after the US release. We'll update our pre-order listings as soon as we know more.

Box formats

Per Topps:

  • Hobby Box: 20 packs of 4 cards, with 1 autograph on average per box.
  • Value Box: 7 packs of 4 cards.
  • Mega Box: 6 packs of 7 cards.

Hobby is the box to buy if you're chasing autographs. Value and Mega boxes are a cheaper way to rip Chrome rookies and Refractors.

The 2026 rookie class

Topps has named these rookies among the headline chases:

  • Fernando Mendoza
  • Jeremiyah Love
  • Carnell Tate
  • Jordyn Tyson
  • Caleb Downs

Chrome rookie cards and their Refractor parallels are usually the most sought-after cards in any Chrome football year, and they sit alongside current NFL stars and legends in the set.

Chrome vs Midnight Football

2026 Topps Midnight Football is a separate release, landing 13 November 2026 (US). We have a Midnight Hobby Box on pre-order (link below). Chrome comes in more formats, from the Value Box up to the Hobby Jumbo, so it suits more budgets.
