Located at Unit 4/2 Templar Place, Bennetts Green NSW, our massive 250sqm showroom features wall-to-wall sports and trading card products, a fully stocked retail front, and a dedicated play space for over 60 players. We’re open 7 days a week and welcome collectors of all ages, from serious hobbyists to brand-new fans.

A Wizards Play Network Store

Urban Empire is a certified Wizards Play Network (WPN) Play Centre, hosting regular Magic: The Gathering events, learn-to-play nights, pre-releases, and tournaments. Our store is built to support high-level play and beginner-friendly sessions, making us the go-to venue for MTG in the Newcastle and Hunter region.

We Do Trade Days, Breaks, and More

Every month, we host Urban Trade Day, one of the biggest community card events in the country. Hundreds of collectors come through to buy, sell, and trade Pokémon, Magic, NBA, NFL, and TCG singles. We also run breaks through our platform and sister brand Cardhub, with a strong focus on NBA and NFL fans across Australia.

Building the Next Generation – Urban Kids Club

Our exclusive Kids Club has grown to over 400 active young collectors, offering free monthly packs, in-store rewards, and a safe space to explore the hobby. We’re passionate about growing the next generation of collectors through fun, inclusive experiences.
