Chase highlights

History of Topps Chrome Formula 1

Topps Chrome Formula 1 first landed in 2020 as the first premium Chrome trading card product built around modern F1. It caught on with collectors quickly and has returned every year since, which is why it's now seen as the mainline F1 release and the backbone of modern Formula 1 collecting. Topps credits it with helping motorsport cards earn their place in the modern Hobby.

The appeal hasn't changed: glossy Chrome stock, sharp photography, a deep rainbow of parallels and top-tier autographs. It isn't just the F1 grid either. F2 and F3 drivers are on the checklist too, which gives you a shot at future stars before they step up.

Each year Topps has widened the insert lineup, added parallel depth and premium elements, and refined the photography and design. For 2026 that means Helmet Collection Image Variations for the first time, Podium Triple Autographs featuring the drivers from each of last season's podiums, the F1 Debut Patch Autograph, Futuro Autographs, inserts like Abu Dhabi at Night, Chrome Anime and Genesis, and The Grail, one of the rarest pulls in the product.
