1996-97 Fleer Ultra Michael Jordan Full Court Trap #1 Insert Chicago Bulls

A seriously good 1990s Michael Jordan insert, this 1996-97 Fleer Ultra Full Court Trap #1 features Jordan in a defensive stance for the Chicago Bulls. Despite sometimes being advertised simply as a “1997 Full Court Trap,” the correct set identification is 1996-97 Fleer Ultra Full Court Trap, with Jordan confirmed as card #1. PSA also catalogues the card as 1996 Ultra Full Court Trap #1.

Full Court Trap is a 10-card insert set celebrating some of the NBA's premier defensive players, including Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Gary Payton, David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon. The standard Full Court Trap inserts were seeded approximately 1:15 Series One packs, making this a considerably tougher pull than a regular Ultra base card.

The design is particularly distinctive, using a silver foil-etched and embossed finish with Jordan pictured locked into his defensive stance. The card back references his selection to the 1995-96 NBA All-Defensive Team. There is also a much scarcer Gold parallel, which was inserted around 1:180 packs; this listing is for the standard Full Court Trap version.
