1996 Pokémon Japanese Base Set Charizard Holo #6 PSA 7 NM

An iconic piece of early Pokémon TCG history, this Charizard Holo #6 comes from the original 1996 Japanese Base Set, released in Japan before the English Pokémon TCG debuted. Known by PSA as 1996 Pokémon Japanese Basic, the card features the original Charizard artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita and remains one of the defining cards of the Pokémon hobby.

The Japanese release numbers Charizard as #006, corresponding with its National Pokédex number, rather than the #4/102 numbering used on the later English Base Set card. This is the standard holo version with the rarity symbol; the significantly scarcer No Rarity Symbol printing is separately recognised by PSA as its own variety.

This example has been professionally authenticated and graded PSA 7 NM by Professional Sports Authenticator. A strong example of the original Japanese Charizard from the very beginning of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
