1997-98 Upper Deck SPx Michael Jordan #6 HoloView Die-Cut Chicago Bulls

One of the most distinctive 1990s Michael Jordan base cards, this 1997-98 Upper Deck SPx #6 features Jordan with the Chicago Bulls in SPx's unmistakable die-cut HoloView design. Beckett confirms Jordan as #6 and notes that the 1997-98 release was the final SPx set to use the original HoloView technology.

The base set was exceptionally compact at only 50 cards, with cards originally distributed in three-card packs. The combination of thick card stock, extensive foil, unusual die-cut edges and the holographic portrait made SPx one of Upper Deck's most technologically ambitious premium products of the era.

This is the standard #6 base version, not one of the parallel versions. Jordan #6 was also produced in Sky, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Grand Finale versions, making identifying the exact parallel important with this release.
