Featuring the iconic artwork of Mitsuhiro Arita, Charizard is the key Holo Rare from the 102-card set that introduced the Pokémon TCG to English-speaking collectors.

This is the highly desirable 1st Edition printing, identified by the Edition 1 stamp on the front. English 1st Edition Base Set Pokémon cards use the original Shadowless design, lacking the drop shadow around the right side of the artwork frame that appeared on later Unlimited printings. Charizard is card #4/102, a Fire-type Stage 2 Pokémon with 120 HP.
