Academy Rector - Urza's Destiny (UDS) (LP)

Add one of Magic's most recognisable Reserved List creatures to your collection with Academy Rector from Urza's Destiny.

Originally released in 1999, Academy Rector is a Rare Creature — Human Cleric with a powerful ability capable of putting virtually any enchantment from your library directly onto the battlefield.

For {3}{W}, Academy Rector is a 1/2 creature. When it dies, you may exile it. If you do, you can search your library for an enchantment card and put it directly onto the battlefield, then shuffle.

Because the enchantment bypasses both its normal casting cost and the need to be cast, Academy Rector can enable extremely powerful plays with high-cost or game-changing enchantments.

Its ability has made Academy Rector a distinctive build-around card for Commander, Legacy and Vintage, particularly in strategies featuring sacrifice outlets and powerful enchantment targets.

As an original Urza's Destiny Rare from 1999 and a member of the Reserved List, Academy Rector also holds significant appeal for collectors of classic Magic cards.
