Rhystic Study - Prophecy (PCY)

Add one of Commander’s most iconic card-draw engines to your deck with Rhystic Study from the original Magic: The Gathering — Prophecy release.

Originally printed in 2000, Rhystic Study is a deceptively powerful Common Enchantment that has gone on to become a highly sought-after staple of blue Commander strategies.

For {2}{U}, Rhystic Study creates a recurring tax for your opponents. Whenever an opponent casts a spell, you may draw a card unless that player pays {1}.

In multiplayer Commander, where several opponents may cast multiple spells each turn cycle, Rhystic Study can generate substantial card advantage or force opponents to repeatedly spend additional mana to prevent you from drawing.

Its simple but powerful effect has made Rhystic Study one of the most recognisable blue enchantments in Commander.

This Prophecy #45 version is the original 2000 printing, featuring the classic Magic frame and original artwork, giving it additional appeal for players and collectors who prefer early printings of established Commander cards.
