2001 Pokémon Japanese Dark Houndoom Holo No. 229 Darkness, and to Light CGC 10 Gem Mint

Dark Houndoom from the 2001 Japanese Pokémon expansion Darkness, and to Light is a highly collectible vintage Holo Rare featuring one of the most recognisable Dark-type Pokémon from the Johto region. With its striking holographic finish and distinctive artwork, this card captures the darker aesthetic that made the Neo-era Pokémon sets so memorable.

Released in Japan in 2001, Darkness, and to Light is the Japanese counterpart to the English Neo Destiny expansion. The set is celebrated for its Dark and Light Pokémon, beautiful vintage artwork and enduring appeal among collectors. Dark Houndoom features artwork by Shin-ichi Yoshida, showcasing the intimidating Pokémon in a classic Japanese holographic design.

Professionally graded CGC 10 Gem Mint, this example has achieved an exceptional grade for a vintage Japanese Pokémon card. Combining an iconic Johto Pokémon, desirable Neo-era artwork and a premium Gem Mint grade, this is an outstanding addition to any Houndoom, Japanese vintage or high-grade Pokémon collection.
